At the end of the second semester, the DMC requires sophomores and juniors to conduct internships in the fields of media and communication in Cambodia or abroad. So far, we have sent students to media agencies and NGOs in Cambodia, ASEAN countries such as Malaysia and the Philippines as well as European countries (i.e. Germany, Belgium).
There are a lot of opportunities for DMC’s undergraduate students to win scholarships to ASEAN countries, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, the US, France, Germany and other European countries. Some of our graduates have move on to complete their postgraduate degree in these countries as well.
The DMC prides itself on the extremely high employment rate of our graduates, many of whom are now accomplished program produces, communication specialists, news reporters, researchers, academics, and other media-related practitioners.
Prospective career choices for our students include media editor, radio and TV producer, radio and TV presenter, filmmaker, script writer, press/communication officer, advertising and public relations practitioner, journalist/reporter, photographer, cameraman and other media-related jobs.
